Jason Young

Chief Financial Officer

Jason Young, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of RedBird Capital Partners.  As CFO, Mr. Young oversees the accounting and reporting for the firm’s investment partnerships, general partnership entities, co-investment vehicles and management companies.  As CCO, Mr. Young oversees the firm’s SEC compliance program and ensures the firm and its employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations governing Registered Investment Advisors and that employees adhere to the firm’s Code of Ethics. Mr. Young is based in the firm’s Dallas office.

Mr. Young previously served as Senior Manager at TPG Capital, a leading global private investment firm with $75 billion of assets under management, where he focused on established businesses across a broad range of industries requiring between $10 million and $1 billion of capital.  Prior to TPG Capital, Mr. Young worked at KPMG, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services in 155 countries, where he specialized in the financial services, real estate and federal government practices.

Mr. Young holds a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.  Mr. Young is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association.
