Cade McNown is a Managing Director at RedBird Capital Partners, where he is responsible for leading capital partnerships and fundraising initiatives across the RedBird platform. He is also actively involved in strategic initiatives related to collegiate athletics.
Prior to joining RedBird, Cade was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, where he helped lead capital raising efforts for the firm’s Global Credit platform. Before joining Carlyle, he was a Senior Managing Director at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for Business Development and Client Relationships.
Earlier in his career, Cade was a Director and Wealth Advisor at LourdMurray, a boutique registered investment advisory firm in Los Angeles, where he developed new business and cultivated relationships with Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) families and institutions. He also served as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, advising UHNW families and institutions on Traditional and Alternative Investment solutions.
At the start of his career, Cade spent four years as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL), with the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers. Cade was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame, and the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame.
Philanthropically, Cade serves in various capacities supporting the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, Scouting America, Friends of Golf, and The California Showcase.
Cade received a B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
