David Castelblanco is a Partner at RedBird Capital Partners, where he leads the Firm’s Sports and Media sector.
David is actively involved with RedBird portfolio companies including AC Milan, Artists Equity, All3Media, EverWonder, Front Office Sports, and Fenway Sports Group.
Prior to joining RedBird, David spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs in the Merchant Banking Division, where he was a Managing Director in the private equity investment business. During his tenure, he worked closely with Gerry Cardinale for over a decade to help build the Firm’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications investment platform. Across his career at Goldman Sachs, David invested more than $4 billion in the U.S., primarily across the media, communications, entertainment, and consumer sectors.
David holds a B.A. from Brown University, a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
