Cade McNown is a Managing Director at the Firm.  In his role, Cade focuses on the development and management of capital partnerships across the RedBird platform.  In addition to his core responsibilities, Cade is actively involved in strategic initiatives related to collegiate athletics.

Prior to joining RedBird, Cade was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, where he helped to lead capital raising efforts for the firm’s Global Credit platform.  Before joining Carlyle, he was a Senior Managing Director at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors where he was responsible for business development and client relationships.

Earlier in his career, Cade was a director and wealth advisor at LourdMurray, a boutique registered investment advisory firm in Los Angeles, where he developed new business and cultivated relationships with UHNW families and institutions. He also served as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, advising UHNW families and institutions on traditional and alternative investment solutions.

At the start of his career, Cade spent four years as a quarterback in the National Football League, with the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers.  Cade was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame, and the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame.

Philanthropically, Cade serves in various capacities supporting The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, Scouting America, Friends of Golf, and The California Showcase.

Cade holds a B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
