Paul Bamundo is a Senior Vice President of the RedBird Development Group.
Prior to joining RedBird, Paul was the Chief Executive Officer of the National Pickleball League. Under Paul’s leadership, the NPL doubled in size and experienced revenue growth of more than 250%. Paul was previously the Head of Global Sponsorships, Brand and Event Marketing for DXC Technology where he was the architect of a groundbreaking relationship with Manchester United to have the DXC logo on game and retail jerseys. Prior to this, Paul was the Chief Marketing Officer for the Ivy League where he created the most comprehensive deal in their history with TIAA, and established a long-term partnership with ESPN.
After working in senior marketing roles at the NBA and IMG, Paul was the Global Director of Sports Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for Subway where he was responsible for the brand’s extensive portfolio of sports sponsorships and celebrity endorsements. Under his direction, Subway was named Sports Sponsor of the Year for the Sports Business Journal’s Sports Business Awards and was declared the most buzz-worthy brand for three consecutive years by YouGov.
Paul started his career with Procter & Gamble and then worked in strategy and technology consulting for industry leading firms before and after attending business school, including Accenture, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Booz Allen & Hamilton.
Paul holds a B.S. in Applied Economics, Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He served on the Alumni Advisory Board of the Wharton Sports Business Initiative and is a volunteer mentor with the ACP program for military veterans transitioning to civilian life.
