Samuel So is a Vice President at RedBird Capital Partners, where he focuses on developing and managing strategic capital partnerships across the Asia Pacific region and supporting the Firm’s fundraising initiatives.
Prior to joining RedBird, Samuel was a Director within the Global Wealth Management division at Apollo Global Management, where he covered Greater China and was responsible for cultivating relationships with private wealth channels, family offices, and strategic investors across the region. Before Apollo, he spent six years at Goldman Sachs, where he joined as an Analyst and advanced to Vice President. Most recently, he was a member of the Alternative Capital Markets Group within Asset & Wealth Management, advising clients on alternative investment opportunities and capital solutions. Samuel began his career at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Hong Kong.
Samuel received an Honors B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and holds the Chartered ESG Analyst (CESGA®) designation.
