Tyler Alexander is a Partner at RedBird Capital Partners, where he focuses on investment themes tied to content/IP, live events, and entertainment technology & services.
Tyler is responsible for RedBird’s investments in:
- Paramount Skydance (Nasdaq: PSKY), partnership with the Ellison Family in a $28 billion transaction involving the acquisition of Paramount Global and merger with Skydance Media
- Talent Systems, the largest technology marketplace for casting actors
- MARI, partnership with Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro to create a global live events and experiences platform across tennis, art/collectibles, ticketing, and festivals
- Harbor Lights Entertainment, the holding company which controls the Paramount voting shares, along with a portfolio of theaters (f.k.a. National Amusements)
- Tract, data center powered-land acquisition and development platform
- Next Tier, portfolio of mission-critical real estate assets
He also led RedBird’s prior investments across the data center sector, including Compass Datacenters (sold for $5.7 billion in 2023), N3 (sold to Accenture in 2020), and TierPoint (2025 exit).
Tyler joined RedBird at the Firm’s inception in 2013. Prior to joining RedBird, he was an Associate at MidOcean Partners. Tyler began his career at Rothschild & Co. in the global advisory restructuring group where he focused on special situations during the financial crisis.
Tyler was recognized by Private Equity International’s Future 40 Leaders: Dealmakers in 2025. He is a Member of the New York Regional Board for the College Foundation of the University of Virginia.
Tyler received a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar.
